MANILA, Philippines — Ten more Filipinos in Oddar Meanchey Province in Cambodia were successfully repatriated on Sunday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
Their return to the Philippines was in assistance of Cambodian law enforcement authorities and the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh, it said in a statement.

“In addition to other identified needs, the Philippine Embassy distributed to them care packages and paid for their repatriation flight using the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Assistance to Nationals (ATN) Fund,” the DFA said.

“Upon the 10 Filipinos’ arrival at the Immigration headquarters in Phnom Penh yesterday after a nine-hour journey from Oddar Meanchey, the ATN team of the Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh delivered to the group hot meals and a fresh batch of care packages,” it added.
The agency noted that this latest series of repatriations was undertaken on the back of“long-standing friendly ties” between the Philippines and Cambodia.
“The entire Philippine Foreign Service renews its call for the Filipino public to heed the Embassy’s Advisory No. 09-2025 on deceptive overseas job opportunities peddled on social media, which could bring miserable, even harmful outcomes in some cases,” it also said.
